A new 33-story mixed-use tower is set to rise in downtown Orlando and will include the city’s first five-star hotel, branded residences, meeting space, dining, and gym and spa facilities. The project will also include the Orlando Museum of Art.

The design of the 862,000-sf tower takes inspiration from Mies van Der Rohe’s unbuilt Friedrichstrasse Berlin Tower. Bulbed ends of the curving building will optimize views to the lake and generous cantilevered balconies will shade living spaces from direct sun.

The tower’s base meets the ground with a transparent, undulating skin that activates the neighborhood through outdoor bar and restaurant seating views in and out of the hotel, condos, and meeting center lobbies. Additionally, outdoor verandas on the second- and third-level meeting pre-function areas will further enhance the space.

In total, the tower will comprise 300 modern condominium residences; 232 full-service luxury hotel guest rooms; 71,850 sf of convention and meeting facilities; art galleries; a rooftop amenity deck with a spa, fitness center, pool, and dog park; eight levels of structured valet and self parking for 740 vehicles; and ground-floor lobbies, lounges, baes, and restaurants.

Summa Development Group is the project’s developer. DLR Group is designing the project.
