Two million people each year visit the Petroleum Planet exhibit at a Chicago science museum. Visitors can pretend that they are hydrocarbon molecules as they walk inside a 10-ft. mock pipeline protected by sprayed-on polyurethane. Adhering to virtually any substrate, the coating can be applied to floors, walls and stairways requiring protection from abrasion, corrosion, impact or chemicals. It can be sprayed to any thickness and has a nonskid surface.
