Developed by Amera Urban Developers, One Charter Place in Coral Springs, Fla., is now open, marking first phase completion of a plan to reinvent the city's downtown area. The $25 million financial and retail center is located on a 3.9-acre site. State Farm will occupy 50,500 sf—about half the building. Other tenants of the curving, four-story building include Wachovia, Merrill Lynch, First Southern Bank, and a LasikPlus Vision Center. The project's general contractor was J. Raymond Construction Corp., Longwood, Fla.
