Bernard Tschumi, former dean of architecture at Columbia University, has designed his first residential project. Named Blue for its glass curtain wall colored in varying shades of blue, the estimated $17 million, 16-story apartment tower is under construction on Manhattan's Lower East Side. Scheduled for completion in late 2006, Blue is being developed by New York's Angelo Cosentini and John Carson.
