Bel Mare, a joint venture between California developers Allied Retail Partners, Newport Beach, and Red Mountain Retail Group, Santa Ana, will be a 56,000-sf shopping center project that spans 17 lots near a busy intersection on the Pacific Coast Highway in Newport Beach. The $80 million project is expected to break ground later this year, with a projected opening in mid-2008. It was designed by KTGY Group Architecture and Planning of Irvine; Snyder Langston, also of Irvine, is the general contractor.
