Gilbane Building Co., Providence, R.I., was selected as construction manager for the new headquarters of Manpower, a Fortune 200 company, on the banks of the Milwaukee River. The four-story, 280,000-sf facility will connect to a seven-story, 1,260-stall parking structure via a skywalk. The $50 million project, designed by Eppstein Uhen Architects of Milwaukee, includes an extension of the Milwaukee RiverWalk. The Building Team will seek LEED certification. The project broke ground in May, with completion set for August 2007.
