The Peshtigo Tower, designed by architect Ralph Johnson, a design principal with Chicago's Perkins+Will, features a distinctive, angular design. The 358-unit, $180 million tower is anything but a “uniform box,” according to developer Related Midwest, a Chicago-based affiliate of New York developer Related Cos. The building, scheduled to be completed in early 2010, will be on a site just west of Lake Shore Drive. Prices range from $480,000 for an 880-sf, one-bedroom unit, to roughly $2.8 million for a 3,790-sf penthouse. The developer will seek LEED certification.
