SCA Americas, a global consumer products company, is conducting energy-efficiency tests in its Philadelphia offices. The company is comparing four single-person offices equipped with Lutron's EcoSystem lighting control solution on the 26th floor with four identical offices not using the system one floor below. Results reveal that offices using EcoSystem lighting controls have consumed 67% less energy than offices without the controls. With Lutron's system, adjustments to the lighting level can be made using a computer, PDA, or remote control. The system also includes dimming, daylight sensing, and occupant sensing.
