After 25 years of exposure to Battle Creek, Mich.'s harsh climate, the once-vibrant exterior of Kellogg Arena and Convention Center had lost its luster, and it was affecting the city's ability to attract meetings and conventions. As part of a renovation project to refurbish the facility, architect URS Corp. specified the installation of 15,000 sf of Metl-Span CFA-36 white insulated panels.

“We were able to turn an average-looking building into something that makes a strong design statement,” said Mike Van Schelven, senior project designer with URS. “It's a ten-fold improvement.”
