New line of cement products incorporates slag, limestone, fly ash, pozzolans, and other recycled elements to form mixes that are more environmentally friendly than traditional cement. The Envirocore line includes nine different mixes for various applications. Envirocore 4000, for instance, incorporates fly ash with portland cement to produce a mix that’s not only more “green,” but also resists sulfate attack and alkali-silica reaction, and provides increased strength and reduced heat evolution.
