• Omaha, Neb.-based Leo A Daly has named VP Thomas A. Womeldurf, AIA, IIDA, LEED AP, director of architecture for the firm’s Washington, D.C., office. Womeldurf will direct the management of the Washington, D.C., architectural studio on all domestic and international projects. The firm has also named Bill Bruneau, AIA, AICP, as senior aviation planner in the Los Angeles office.

Mesa Development, a Chicago-based developer of and investor in multifamily towers, has hired Michael Sher to serve as EVP and CFO.

Karen Pottebaum has been promoted to principal in the healthcare practice sector of RTKL Associates, Baltimore. Pottebaum will be based in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, where she will manage major healthcare projects.

• McLean, Va.-based architect Davis Carter Scott has opened an office in Middleburg, Va., its second office. The new location will provide full architectural services for corporate, government, and mixed-use projects.

Mackenzie Keck Inc., a Hackettstown, N.J.-based general contractor and construction manager, has named Vikram K. Reddi president. Reddi has held senior management positions in the retail and commercial construction industries for the past 25 years.

• Southfield, Mich.-based contractor Barton Malow Co. has named David Price VP of the firm’s Florida region.

Samuel Palmer has joined Buchanan Partners, a Gaithersburg, Md.-based commercial real estate development firm, as VP of building design and construction. Palmer previously served as senior construction manager for Carl M. Freeman Retail, where he was responsible for overseeing all new construction projects at the firm’s commercial development and redevelopment sites.
