Bill Hellmuth, AIA, has been appointed president of St. Louis-based HOK, and Bill Valentine, FAIA, has been named chairman of HOK Group Inc. Hellmuth previously served as senior principal and design director of HOK's Washington, D.C., office. Valentine has served as HOK president since 2000. His new position is chairman of the board of the holding company that owns HOK, HOK Sport, and HOK Delivery.
Dan Meis, AIA, has joined Nadel Architects Inc. as president. Meis has been recognized for his designs of large-scale civic and commercial developments such as the Staples Center in Los Angeles. His Turner Meis + Associates studio previously worked with Nadel on several projects.
Dan Killebrew, AIA, has been named managing director of Houston-based FKP Architects' Dallas office. Killebrew joined the firm in 2004 as a vice president and project manager.
Dale Scott has joined Florida-based Sikon Construction Corp. as SVP. Scott was previously involved with the International Council of Shopping Centers as co-chair of the group's Central Florida planning committee.
