Kenosha County Selects Riley for Public Safety Building Addition, Renovation

August 11, 2010

Riley Construction Company has been awarded the construction management of the $15 million Kenosha County Public Safety Building addition and renovation project.

The project, located in the heart of downtown Kenosha, involves a three-story, 44,300 square foot addition to the existing facility. The addition will house an expanded Joint Services 911 dispatch center, the County Division of Information Systems and additional Kenosha Police Department space. The basement garage is also planned to be expanded to house additional vehicles. The renovation is anticipated to include modernizing the existing interior administrative space for the Kenosha Police Department and Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department.

The project will break ground this summer and is expected to be completed at the end of 2010. Milwaukee-based Zimmerman Architectural Studios is serving as the designer.

One of the largest construction management and general construction firms in southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois with more than $154 million in volume last year, Riley Construction is headquartered in Kenosha, WI, with permanent offices located in Milwaukee and Lake Bluff, IL.
