Retzsch Lanao Caycedo Architects of Boca Raton, Fla., designed a contemporary 19-story office/retail tower in Hallandale, Fla., with a glass façade interspersed with metal louvers and planes of metal mesh. A dramatic arch crowns the 454,244-sf building, which has 191,104 sf of office space and 13,021 sf of retail space. The rest of the building's space—approximately 239,000 sf—is dedicated to parking. Domus Investment Group, Miami, is the building's developer. Expected completion date: April 2009.
