Ground has been broken on One Charter Place, a $25 million, 210,000-sf office and retail center in Coral Springs, Fla. The site is the first of four development projects, totaling 3.3 million sf, planned to create a pedestrian-friendly downtown over the next decade through a public/private partnership. Coral Springs-based Amera Urban Development is the developer, with Solomon Cordwell Buenz & Associates of Chicago as architect and Raymond & Associates as general contractor.
