Ground was recently broken on the $5 million Kansas City Cardiology Outpatient Heart and Vascular Center, which will offer a more convenient location for Lee's Summit residents seeking outpatient cardiac and vascular care from Kansas City Cardiology Associates. The center will house outpatient diagnostic services and physician offices in this single location, amid a Missouri area booming with healthcare facilities.
The 22,000-sf facility will provide advanced medical technology, including echocardiography, noninvasive vascular testing, nuclear stress imaging and 3-D CT scanning.
Miller-Stauch Construction, Kansas City, Mo., is the general contractor. Watkins Hamilton Ross Architects, Houston, is the architect. Expected completion: January 2007.
