Designed by Bunting Coady Architects, Vancouver, B.C., the 185,000-sf Kwantlen Polytechnic University Cloverdale Campus provides 21 shops and 27 classrooms for up to 900 full-time students in trades, technology, and applied training programs. Opened in 2007, the $42 million campus recently was award LEED-NC Gold certification. One unusual feature is a welding area exhaust system that adjusts automatically based on the number of booths in use.
