Leads Legat’s K-12 education practice, which accounts for more than 40% of firm’s annual revenue ($13.6 million in 2010, according to BD+C’s 2010 Giants 300 report). Instrumental in growing this practice over the last decade.

Collaborates with America’s Schoolhouse Council (a consortium of the nation’s top U.S. educational architects) to develop reference materials and virtual tools for an inquiry-based classroom model.

Participated in “Flip This Classroom” in 2010, pro bono classroom makeover projects at Chicago Bulls College Prep and Glen Crest Middle School, Glen Ellyn, Ill.

Favorite food: pizza with ham and pineapple.

Wife’s also an architect, so home improvement projects never end.

Owns a 1947 Case SC tractor, a keepsake from his grandparents’ farm.
