 Las Vegas City Hall

Las Vegas will soon break ground on a new downtown city hall. Located on First Street and Clark Avenue, the 300,000-sf building will, it is hoped, spur downtown redevelopment and create thousands of jobs. Joint venture Forest City/LiveWork will construct the $146.2 million structure, composed of seven floors of office space, a single-level basement, and 47 parking stalls, with space reserved for council chambers, a cafeteria, an outdoor patio, and 2,000 sf of retail on the ground floor. Seeking LEED Silver, the building includes a solar panel rooftop and glass shading technology.
