WDMA launches project to create ISO-compliant architectural doors

WDMA launches project to create ISO-compliant architectural doors

Architects and specifiers will use the standard in obtaining LEED v4 credits.

By BD+C Staff | December 26, 2013

WDMA's National Architectural Door Council (NADC) has initiated a project to create ISO-compliant Product Category Rules (PCR) for architectural wood flush and stile & rail doors (CSI Master Codes 08 04 00).

Creation of a PCR is the first step, so that door manufacturers can develop ISO-compliant Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) for documenting their products' environmental attributes.

Architects and specifiers will use the standard in obtaining LEED v4 credits.
