By Vetrotech | July 12, 2013
VETROTECH SAINT-GOBAIN, leading manufacturer of fire-rated glass and framing systems in North America, is proud to announce an improved and expanded selection of Autodesk Revit models. The new BIM model files for Vetrotech’s fire-rated glass, window, door and framing systems can be accessed via www.vetrotechUSA.com and through Autodesk Seek via http://seek.autodesk.com.  These data-rich, intelligent 3-D models comply with the Revit Model Content Style Guide (RMCSG) version 2.1.

“We conducted a survey of architects and over 70% said BIM was very important to them when specifying products,” says Kevin Frisone, National Sales and Marketing Manager for VETROTECH.  “We’ve updated and added to the Revit® models available for our fire-rated glass and framing assemblies. We have had BIM models available since 2009 but we’ve increased the quantity of product families available to accommodate our increasing and improved product line.”
