Treasure Valley Development Creates Partnerships

Treasure Valley Development Creates Partnerships

By Staff | August 11, 2010

The Tree Farm, a new mixed-use community coming soon to Idaho's Treasure Valley, recently announced two key projects, a sewer line extension and new traffic signal, in partnership with local public and private entities.

O'Neill Enterprises, an Idaho company, and the Carnahan family, Meridian landowners, came together to form Treehaven, LLC, which is developing The Tree Farm.

The North Black Cat Trunk Sewer Line Extension will be installed through a partnership of local developers, O'Neill Enterprises, Brighton Corp. and Primeland Development. Work started on the project in December 2007. Construction is expected to be complete in spring 2008, at which time the city of Meridian will take over ownership of the new line per an existing agreement with the partnered developers.

Treehaven, LLC and Brighton Corporation have also formed a cooperative partnership to design and install a traffic signal on Chinden Boulevard at the entrance to The Tree Farm and the Bainbridge community. The developers are funding the new signal and intersection in its entirety and working closely with the Ada County Highway District and Idaho Transportation Department to ensure proper agency approvals.
