Members of the Tellepsen family kicked off construction for the new Tellepsen Family YMCA in Houston on January 9th. The new 120,000-square-foot facility, scheduled for completion in 2010, will replace the 67-year-old existing building a block away and will feature additional exercise rooms, a chapel, a woman's wellness center, daycare area, and more.
Tellepsen Builders is responsible for building some of Houston's most notable landmarks such as the Shamrock Hilton Hotel, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and the original St. Luke's.
