Newport, Calif.-based Taylor Architecture and Interior Design was chosen to design a $104 million pediatric addition to Miller Children's Hospital in Long Beach, Calif. The 120,000-sf, four-level building includes seven operating rooms, 48 neonatal intensive care beds, 24 general pediatric beds, and a pediatric imaging center. Construction will begin in late 2005. Scheduled completion: 2008.
