Sequential closing

Sequential closing

August 11, 2010
This article first appeared in the 200011 issue of BD+C.

System provides correct sequential closing of pairs of doors equipped with overlapping astragals, panic devices, flush bolts, cylindrical lock or other hardware assemblies that require one door to close before another. The frame-mounted GSR system holds the active door open at any point in its closing cycle until the inactive door closes completely and triggers release of the active door. Individual track assemblies create a versatile unit for openings 55 to 110 inches wide.
