Construction is complete on Qualcomm's Building W Campus, a 909,170-sf, three-building campus and parking structure located in San Diego. Designed by Delawie Wilkes Rodrigues Barker, San Diego, the new campus will facilitate on-site research, development, engineering, and testing of computer chips for wireless devices. The campus, which is designed to meet LEED standards, encompasses a 12-story, 411,950-sf engineering office facility (pictured), a two-story chip-testing facility, a 4.6-megawatt co-generation plant, and a 372,465-sf, seven-story parking garage. Burkett & Wong was the structural engineer, Walsh Engineers the mechanical engineer, and Roel Construction the general contractor. All are based in San Diego.
