Situated next to a wetland and sculpture garden, the new Ramsey County Library in Maplewood, Minn., isn't lacking scenery. The project's design team searched for ways to incorporate the outdoor atmosphere into the library's interior. Architect HGA specified Pinta Acoustic's Bioline Wood Ceiling Tiles. Available with an organic texture or a natural wood veneer finish, the tiles are made from 80% post-industrial material and provide acoustical control by absorbing 55% of the sound directed at them.
