A selection of 25 colors in the DuPont Corian Terra Collection have been third-party certified by Scientific Certification Systems for having at least 6% preconsumer recycled content (seven colors have 13%). Waste materials, such as imperfect sheets, are redirected from the waste stream during the manufacturing process, ground as particulates, and utilized as material to create the solid surface. Corian is also low-VOC emitting, nonporous, and long-lasting, and is certified by Greenguard under its Indoor Air Quality and Children & Schools programs.
