Self-cleaning fiber cement panels

Self-cleaning fiber cement panels

By Staff | August 11, 2010
This article first appeared in the 200709 issue of BD+C.

Easy-to-install Nichiha Fiber Cement Panels simulate real stone, brick, and other surfaces in exterior and interior applications. The moisture-, rot-, and termite-resistant panels feature clip-based installation and are ship-lapped on four sides so no sealant or caulk is necessary. Panels are available with nanotechnology advancements that protect the surface from dirt, soot, and grime with a microscopic layer of water. Stains and dirt are washed away by rain, reducing the need for harsh chemical cleaning.
