Rugged laptop helps engineering firm streamline office and job site operations

Rugged laptop helps engineering firm streamline office and job site operations

November 10, 2011

When Tennessee-based Entech Engineering was looking for a versatile, rugged laptop to perform in-office and jobsite CAD drawings, it chose the Panasonic Toughbook to document changes in construction.

The laptops are lightweight for easy portability, while dust resistance and a tough exterior shell provide durability. “My previous devices just didn’t hold up in the field,” said Entech principal and mechanical engineer Ben Hunter. “I still have my first Panasonic Toughbook computer that I purchased  [more than] six years ago, and I still use it today.” The company is currently using the Toughbook F9 with Intel i5 processor.
