Remote-controlled parking barrier

October 01, 2009 |

The MySpot 200 restricts unauthorized access to parking spaces, driveways, and access ramps. Drivers of authorized vehicles use a remote-control key fob to lower the steel barrier that protects their exclusive parking spots. The self-powered, self-contained system captures energy from the vehicle's weight and uses the stored energy to raise and lower the barrier, thus obviating the need to connect the device to an electrical power source.
