Red Robin uses LEDs for energy efficiency
|
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers has replaced 12,000 standard incandescent and halogen lights in more than 150 of its restaurants with more efficient seven-watt GE light emitting diode (LED) PAR 20 floodlights and spotlights. Red Robin is using the LED lights for downlighting applications that require a high quality of light, measured as lamp-to-lamp white LED color consistency. The installation is the largest application of GE's seven-watt LED PAR lamp in a restaurant setting to date.
