Lock system allows users to re-key locks quickly and easily without removal from the door, for improved access control and security. The Kwikset SmartKey system features side-locking bar technology that permits property owners to safely match or change out keys without special training or outside contractors. The design eliminates the typical sheer line, pins, and tumbler mechanisms, removing the most vulnerable points of typical lock systems.
