Kansas City bank renovation incorporates modern windows and doors

January 10, 2011

The Merchants Bank Building in Kansas City, Mo., was missing its door and most of its windows. For the renovation, local architecture firm Susan Richards Johnson & Associates opted for Marvin Custom Clad Ultimate Double-Hung and Picture Windows to keep up the building’s historic style while improving its thermal efficiency. A custom-clad commercial door, combined with a system of built-up Marvin aluminum stock moldings, helped recreate the original door’s style.
