Carl Johnson, architect with BSA LifeStructures, Indianapolis, specified Schlage L-Series anti-ligature doorknobs for a renovation of patient assessment rooms and restrooms in the psychiatric pavilion at Community North Hospital, Indianapolis. The anti-ligature trim helps prevent patient self-harm in such applications as psychiatric health and detention facilities. “The L-Series meets all our expectations,” said Charles Purdy, Community North’s director of general support services. “We would certainly use this anti-ligature product again for other hospital renovations.”
