Construction of the $100 million William J. Clinton Presidential Center [1] in Little Rock, Ark., is expected to begin by early 2002. The center, to be located in a former warehouse district along the Arkansas River, will consist of a main building of 150,000 square feet. The library will be tied into a 15,000-sq.-ft. former railroad depot that will be renovated to accommodate research and storage functions. New York City-based Polshek Partnership [2] is the architect, and Little Rock-based CDI Contractors [3] is the general contractor.
