Pilkington Optiwhiteā¢ has a near colorless appearance which is remarkably noticeable as compared to standard clear float glass. Optiwhiteā¢ glass offers enhanced aesthetics for a wide variety of applications, including but not limited to; storefronts, showers, appliances, decorative and furniture applications, photovoltaic modules and solar collectors.
In 1984, Pilkington began producing low iron glass in Europe. Since then, Optiwhiteā¢ has shown continued growth and popularity, and as a result, is now being produced on two continents.
