Office Complex Breaks the Mold in Carlsbad, Calif.

Centerpoint Plaza, a 97,500-sf office building, is under construction in Carlsbad, Calif. The commercial project was designed by the San Diego office of Austin Veum Robbins Partners. Reno Contracting of San Diego is the general contractor. "Our goal was to create a new standard for corporate office design in the area, as the exterior façades of Centerpoint are a departure from the current Carlsbad model of punched openings," said Ralph Linder, AIA, AVRP's project director on Centerpoint Plaza.
