Butter NC, an 8,300-sf nightclub at the North Carolina Music Factory, in Charlotte, featured the Black Eyed Peas and Nicky Hilton on its recent opening night. When taking a breather from either of the two dance floors, clubgoers can grab a cocktail at one of three bars or check out the intimate VIP section (provided they’re VIPs, of course). Hendrick Construction, Charlotte, converted the two-story nightclub, complete with massive ceiling displays, velvet walls, and hand-painted bamboo, from an old mill and retained much of the original 1963 brickwork.
