First look: Zaha Hadid reveals design for dreamy sculptural hotel

Zaha Hadid Architects and Melco Crown Entertainment have unveiled the design for a 780-room hotel to be built on Melco's flagship property, City of Dreams. Located in Catai, Macau, City of Dreams is a recreational hub that includes hotels, restaurants, and live entertainment.

Gregory Hodkinson appointed head of Arup Group

Arup announced that Gregory Hodkinson will take over the role of Chairman. Hodkinson is joined by Deputy Chairmen Tristram Carfrae and David Whittleton. Together they will lead a global group of more than 11,500 staff members with turnover in excess of $1.7 billion.
 
"Arup's strategy is quite simply to deliver the best quality work for our clients across all sectors," Hodkinson explains.

Start your engines: Ferrari plans to build first ever hotel

Ferrari is going beyond cars—the company is planning its first hotel, just outside of Barcelona.

In addition to the hotel, the company is also building its second theme park, called Ferrari Land. Both attractions will be located in Spain's PortAventura Resort.

Clad in the carmaker's signature "Ferrari red," the hotel will resemble the grill and hood of one of its iconic cars, and will feature an outdoor pool, 250 rooms, restaurants, and a driving simulator.
