Nobel Biocare's U.S. manufacturing facility, designed by Ware Malcomb, completes Phase 1

Yorba Linda, California – Friday, April 10, 2009 - Leading Design Firm Ware Malcomb is proud to announce that design is completed and construction has begun for Nobel Biocare’s manufacturing and office renovation project. The existing two-story manufacturing/office building is owned by Nobel Biocare USA, LLC, and is located at 22715 Savi Ranch Parkway in Yorba Linda, California.

Ware Malcomb is providing full-service interior architecture and graphic design services for the 50,000 square foot tenant improvement. The space is composed of 38,000 square feet of manufacturing space, laboratories, clean rooms, a large break room, a large shower/locker restroom facility, and an interactive tour route for visiting doctors. The 12,000 square foot second floor consists of multiple private offices, open office, several conference rooms, small break rooms, and additional lab area.

Through Ware Malcomb’s “brand enhanced graphics” program, designers developed vignettes displaying Nobel Biocare products and corporate identity along the facility tour route.  Brand enhanced graphics were used throughout the office space as well to inspire and reinforce Nobel Biocare’s corporate culture.

and highly efficient manufacturing/lab spaces.  The final design connects the office and manufacturing environment by using viewing hubs to observe the manufacturing process, and low work station panels that promote employee interaction.  The new design is an open workplace that is inviting to both visitors and employees.

KPRS Construction Services, Inc. of Brea, California is serving as the General Contractor for the project.   Construction for Phase 1 of the project was completed in March 2009, while Phase II is estimated to be completed by June 2009.
