Pritzker Architecture Prize winner Thom Mayne designed the tower, which will be called Phare, or Lighthouse.

The Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, a $132 million structure to be completed in December 2006, is designed as a paper-light facility with technologies such as electronic medical records and digital imaging technology to provide faster patient care with fewer medical errors.
