B oston-based Suffolk Healthcare has been selected as the contractor for the new Fenway Community Health complex in Boston. The $14 million fit-out project will encompass 10 floors and 100,000 sf within a newly constructed facility. The fit-out, designed by architect Anshen+Allen, San Francisco, will include exam rooms, treatment facilities, therapy rooms, and office space, and will allow FCH to bring most of its medical, mental health, research, outreach, and advocacy programs under one roof. Upon completion in April 2009, FCH will be the largest health facility in the U.S. with the specific mission to serve the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community.
