Milliken Development Group of Seattle plans to develop a $180 million mixed-use project in the heart of Minneapolis. The development will occupy an entire city block and feature a 76,000-sf Whole Foods Market, 250 luxury condos, and 6,500 sf of retail space. The project, tentatively called Marketplace Tower, is scheduled for completion in spring of 2009. RSP Architects, Minneapolis, is designing the project, which will be modeled after Seattle's 2200 Westlake project (pictured above). A general contractor has not been named.
