McLaughlin named Executive Director of the Builders Association

McLaughlin comes to the Builders Association after 21 years as the Executive Director of the Plumbing Contractors Association Of Chicago.

The Executive Committee of the Builders Association welcomes Dan McLaughlin as the new Executive Director. Dan comes to the Builders Association after twenty one years as the Executive Director of the Plumbing Contractors Association Of Chicago.

“Dan has an extensive background in association management, construction and business issues that we feel will benefit the Builders Association and we are excited to have Dan on board,” said Chairman Akintonde.

“Tracking legislation and working to affect change is a big part of any association’s mission and we feel Dan has a great understanding of the process,”  added Vice Chairman Raday.

Treasurer Ken Egidi said, “Having gone through the same struggles as every other association and business over the last few years, we are looking forward to working with Dan as the economy rebounds to serve our members in new and creative ways.”

The Builders Association  is a 107-year-old trade organization representing Chicago area general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.

The campus will reuse and upcycle the granite left onsite. The project for Cell Signaling Technology (CST), a life sciences technology company, will turn an environmentally depleted site into a net-zero laboratory campus, with building electrification and onsite renewables.
