A landmark 700,000-sf bed tower at the Hadassah Medical Center at Ein Kerem in Jerusalem is the first project aimed at creating a modern resource for the growing city. Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, authorized $220 million for the tower, designed by Dallas-based HKS. It includes 450 beds, a 50,000-sf logistics center, and an inpatient surgery department. Tower floors are organized around a series of multi-level healing gardens.
