Fall-protection equipment helped save the life of a worker who was cleaning the Washington state Capitol building in Olympia, after the platform he was using gave way. The project was halted to inspect the equipment and provide workers with additional safety training. "It’s a good example of why you need fall protection," said a spokeswoman for the state's Department of Labor and Industries.
