FSC wood shortage could increase green construction costs

Low LEED points for use of Forest Stewardship Council wood, coupled with both a shortage of FSC-certified sawmills and a shortage of FSC wood, may cause a bottleneck for green construction says a new study by the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
