EnCana Oil's 59-story headquarters in Calgary, will be the tallest Canadian building west of Toronto upon completion in 2010. Nicknamed the Bow after the river that runs near its site, the 1.7 million-sf, $185 million tower was designed by London's Foster + Partners in cooperation with the Calgary office of Zeidler Partnership Architects. Construction is expected to start in late summer.
