Former hat storage warehouse converted to apartments in St. Louis

S t. Louis-based Paric Corp. has completed the conversion of the six-story, 97,325-sf Elias Haas Building, originally built for a family-owned hat business, into 96 loft apartments and 4,000 sf of retail in St. Louis. The Locust Street Lofts feature exposed glazed brick, expansive windows, and refurbished wood flooring. The exterior is composed of a combination of masonry, terra cotta, stucco, and marble. Local architect Klitzing Welsch Associates designed the complex for Bruce Development, St. Louis.
